This is one smartphone that is eagerly being awaited by all Motorola fans. The Motorola Dext 2 as it is called in the UK mobile phone market place is actually known as the Motorola Cliq 2. The Dext 2 was unveiled with much fanfare earlier this year by the USA-based mobile phone company at the CES technology event. Though it is yet to get well entrenched here.
It is still not clear whether it will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread or the Android 2.2 Froyo that will be running this smartphone from Motorola. The smartphone is fitted with a five mega pixel snapper with auto focus and flash options given. The internet memory space allotted of 8 GB can be expanded to 32 GB with the use of the microSD memory card.
There is GPRS, WLAN and bluetooth giving their might to the internet browsing as well as data networking requirements.
Motorola obviously has the Android pumping in its operational power behind it. Moreover, the network service carriers have also expressed their abundant internet on the same.
